William Seki
William Seki was five and a half when he and his family were kicked out of their home in Los Angeles, California. They were sent to Manzanar, a camp in the Sierra mountains, they got one mattress and one thin blanket each. As a child in an internment camp, he had no idea what was happening, he just saw it as a move. As he and his siblings would explore the camp and go to school, the adults were trying to regain their rights as US citizens. Listen to his story and discover the sheltered views of a child as he endures one of the most tragic things to ever happen in US history.
