In this podcast, we talk about the life experiences of Robert Talmo in WW2. Robert Talmo was attending the University of Minnesota when he decided to enlist in the Navy after hearing about the attack in Pearl Harbor on the radio. After completing the Navy Academy, he was assigned to an ammunition ship called the USS Akutan. Tamlo and the crew spent most of their time in the Pacific, where he patrolled the ocean and transfered ammunition to different islands in the pacific. After the war, he went back to the University of Minnesota, where he obtained a degree in electrical engineering. He started a company named MicroGage and now lives in San Diego with his wife. After experiencing war in the Pacific, Talmo believes we should never have wars because of the tremendous damage they produce.
