In our podcast we answer the essential question, Is it possible to move past and forgive a terrible action for the greater good? Mike Kawamura survived the atomic bomb in Hiroshima, Japan at the age of two. He came to San Diego when he was 24 years old to found the Kyrocera San Diego headquarters , but now is retired and is the founder and world peace advocate for SD-WISH. Mike miraculously survived the atomic bomb that was dropped in Japan by the US on August 6, 1945. Throughout our podcast we go through the the highs and lows of Mike Kawamura’s life post-bomb, from things as simple as US soldiers giving him and his friends chocolate, to being scared of radiation giving him and his friends leukemia. All in all, it’s amazing that Mike was able to tell us his story and live here in the U.S with a goal of spreading world peace to everyone.
