The Project
10th Grade Humanities students at High Tech High Media Arts in San Diego, California interviewed and recorded the stories of individuals who had their lives shaped by one of the most notorious examples of total war: World War II. Among the stories we gathered are tales from survivors of violence in Europe and Asia, those interned or imprisoned in concentration, work and prison camps, and veterans who fought in the war. These living histories from all corners of the conflict have been curated and turned into podcasts that address the project’s essential questions. Explore the pages of this website to hear more.
